Holding his B.S from the Medical School of Cluj-Napoca/Romania and Hamburg/German, in 1986, Prof. Dr. med. Uwe Kehler finished his residency in Medical University at Lübeck, Germany in 1992. Furthermore, he received his PhD-Thesis, entitled “Clinical and experimental contributions to endoscopy of the cerebral ventricles”, in 2000.

Today, Prof. Dr. Med. Uwe Kehler works as the Head of the Dept. of Neurosurgery of Asklepios Klinik in Altona, Hamburg. He is an expert on Brain Tumors, Microvascular

Decompressions and Hydrocephalus while he is member in many global medical associations. From 1992 to 2001, he had been working as a Consultant, Dept. at the Medical University of Lübeck, Germany.

For the following 4 years, he continued his professional career as a Consultant in the University Hospital of Hamburg-Eppendorf. Prof. Dr. med. Uwe Kehler has organized plethora of conferences and workshops, contributing with his experience and knowledge in paramount hydrocephalus studies, while he is the co-Editor of Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus in 2012 and with Chinese Edition in 2016.
